Flag Ceremony at Riverplace Senior Residences

The residents at Yolo County Housing Authority (YCHA) senior complex in West Sacramento were concerned that the flag and flagpole on their property were in disrepair. With the advice and support of BBCAN, the residents worked with Yolo County Housing Authority to resolve the problem. The result was donation of a new flag by the Yolo County Veterans Service Office, a newly painted flagpole (courtesy of YCHA), and a committee of residents dedicated to the raising, lowering and appropriate care of the American flag.

The flag dedication ceremony was held on June 30, 2011.
