August 18, 2009: the Board of Directors voted to change the name to Bryte and Broderick Community Action Network. We are more that a group of interested and committed citizens. We are an organization that also includes a network of residents, insititutions and affiliations working toward our goals and a common purpose. Bryte and Broderick CAN!

August 8, 2008: Residents developed a shared vision created in words and pictures, which will serve as a blueprint for neighborhood planning. Subsequent community meetings were held on October 21, 2008 and a "Call to Action" on January 31, 2009.

March 23, 2008: After a kickoff event and through a series of community interviews, the Bryte and Broderick residents expressed their hopes and dreams for their neighborhoods. A promising partnership emerged. Residents and city staff agreed it takes more than one tool to build community. The City provides an array of services and Bryte and Broderick can supply vision, leadership and passion.
