Meet and Greet West Sacramento Rookies - Dec 13, 2008The Bryte and Broderick Community Action Group, Injunction and Police Relationship Subcommittee invites community residents to bring donations of gently used warm clothes, blankets, sleeping bags, or can foods for the last day of their 2008 Annual Bryte and Broderick Christmas Drive & to get to know their rookie patrol officers. Bryte and Broderick Christmas Drive - Nov 29 - Dec 13, 2008First annual can food and warm clothes drive: a Bryte and Broderick Community Action Group/Subcommittee on Injunction/Police Relationship event, in partnership with our local businesses, the West Sacramento Police Department and the Broderick Christian Center. Senior Tire Safety - Nov 08 - Jan 09B&BCAG and Les Schwab Tires sponsor Senior Tire Safety days. During November through January 2009, seniors can bring their cars into Les Schwab to have their flats repaired, and treads, rotation and tires checked free.
2nd Annual Bryte and Broderick Tree Planting - Jan 24, 2009We will have 100-200 trees to plant...and need volunteers. see the calendar
Bryte and Broderick Community Meeting - Jan 31, 2009Followup meeting (with results and outcomes of the October 21 meeting) with residents of Bryte and Broderick. see the calendarB&BCAG hosted a booth during the October 4th, 2008 West Sac Neighbors Fair. Volunteers answered questions about group activities and encouraged West Sacramentans to mark where they lived on an enlarged map of the city and contribute to a wish list. (see the photos) B&BCAG is engaged in discussions and planning around community gardens, youth activities, B&B City funding allocations, meeting places and senior activities. Join us!
