GET INVOLVED IN CITY GROWTH PLANS
Three alternatives for how West Sacramento might grow over the next twenty years were released on September 29 as part of the City’s General Plan Update project. The City, which currently has approximately 48,000 people, is expected to grow to nearly 74,000 people and employ up to 53,000 workers by 2030 under these three scenarios. The alternatives can be viewed at the City’s web site here. A public workshop to receive community feedback on the alternatives has been scheduled for Thursday, October 15th at 7:00 p.m. in the City Galleria. Please attend this meeting to make your thoughts on the City’s future growth over the next twenty years heard.
