CIHC (California Indian Heritage Center) Public Meeting

The purpose of the meeting will be to deal with project alternatives. The meeting will be held in the City Hall Galleria from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.

Last day to register for CERT Training Classes

Free 4-day course (plus a Saturday and graduation!) in the CERT program (Community Emergency Response Team). Be prepared in the event of an emergency situation. Deadline for application is JUNE 11TH. Space is limited - contact WS Fire Department at 916-617-4600 for more information.

Celebrating Flag Day Concert

The West Sacramento Community Orchestra presents a free concert, celebrating Flag Day, 3 p.m.-4:30 p.m. at the City Hall Galleria.

Fraud Awareness Fair

The impact of fraud is felt by every household and is particularly targeted at seniors. Become educated and smart about financial and cyber predators. City Hall Galleria, 2 pm to 6pm. Event is catered by Ludy’s Main Street BBQ. Admission is free, with a BBQ lunch that is optional at $15.00 per person. See your local law enforcement agency for tickets. more info

ANNUAL BEST ON THE BLOCK PROGRAM
The City of West Sacramento is accepting entries beginning May 1st for the annual “Best on the Block” program, a curb-side beautification program for residents and small business owners who have or will be making exterior improvements to the front of their property during the summer of 2010. more info
