March 23 Youth Voices Community Forum
Sactown Heroes will hold a community forum in partnership with BBCAN to address their work and advocacy around the structure and role of the student member for the Washington Unified School Districts Board of Education. The Sactown Heroes call this effort their Gold Medal strategy—their attempt to create a legacy of lasting community change in West Sacramento. Come learn about the process the Heroes have taken and hear about how this strategy influences our Coalition’s mission to increase youth voice in the community. (5:30 pm at the City Hall Galleria)
