My streetlight is out. What should I do?
You can report an inoperative or broken streetlight by completing an Access West Sacramento case, or by calling the City at (916) 617-5013. Please provide as much information as possible, including the streetlight number, the closest address to the streetlight, and whether there is one light or several out. The pole number can usually be found on stickers approximately 8 feet high on the traffic side of the pole.
How can we get streetlights installed in our neighborhood?
Street lighting is generally installed by developers and through the creation of special districts. To ask for streetlights specifically in your neighborhood, please submit an Access West Sacramento inquiry, or dial (916) 617-4645
Who do I call to report a sidewalk trip hazard?
The Street Maintenance Division at (916) 617-4850.
Who do I call if tree limbs are hanging into the street, have fallen into the street, or are blocking a street sign?
Contact the Street Maintenance Division at (916) 617-4850. Please remember that city crew will pick up the leaves and tree limbs that fall directly onto the street. They will NOT pick up leaves, brush, or grass cuttings that have been placed in the street. The street sweeper will sweep around any piles found on the street. Any leaves, grass clippings, brush, tree limbs, and other refuse originating behind the street curb should be placed in garbage cans, bags, or other containers or tied in bundles and placed at the curb for pick-up on refuse day. This service is a part of the regular monthly refuse collection and there is no additional charge. Bundles must be smaller than 3 feet x 3 feet or weigh less than 40 pounds.
How do I report a nuisance code violation such as junk and rubbish, inoperable vehicles, vacant or dangerous buildings?
Reports can be made by calling the Code Enforcement Division at (916) 617-4925; in person at the Code Enforcement office at 1025 Triangle Court, Suite 109; or by submitting an inquiry online using the Access West Sacramento system.
