Senior Transportation Summit (Nov 7, '09)

West Sacramento's first Senior Transportation Summit was held in the City Hall Galleria on the morning of November 7. Approximately 55 people attended, including representatives from City, County and State Government. Participants arrived in cars, on the bus, on foot and bicycle and motorized scooter. BBCAG and Les Schwab Tires sponsored Senior Tire Safety days. During November 2008 through January 2009, seniors can bring their cars into Les Schwab to have their flats repaired, and treads, rotation and tires checked free.  Read more...

Neighbors Fair Booth (Oct '08)

BBCAG hosted a booth during the October 4, 2008 Neighbors Fair held at Riverwalk Parkway. Volunteers answered questions about group activities and encouraged West Sacramentans to mark where they lived on an enlarged map of the city. (see the photos). More than 40 passersby added to a wish list of activities or services they would like to see in our community.

BBCAG Website Launched (Sep '08)

Our new website was launched and ready for public viewing. A calendar of community events is included as an result of residents' comments and requests at the August community meeting in the Galleria.
